Terms of Service
Last Updated: 18 March 2026
1. Our Service
PensionTech provides informational analysis of public sector pension statements and documents. Our service is designed to identify potential errors, omissions, and miscalculations based on the documentation you provide. We produce written audit reports for informational purposes.
2. Not Financial Advice — Important Notice
Our reports, written findings, consultations, and any other communication from PensionTech do not constitute financial advice or regulated financial services activity. PensionTech is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Nothing we produce or say should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified, authorised, and regulated Independent Financial Adviser.
Before taking any action in relation to your pension — including raising corrections with your scheme administrator, transferring benefits, or making retirement decisions — you should obtain regulated financial advice appropriate to your individual circumstances.
3. Scope of Analysis
Our analysis is based solely on the documents and information you provide. We do not have direct access to your pension scheme's administrative systems, and our findings are limited to what can be identified from submitted documentation. We cannot guarantee that all errors will be identified.
4. Limitation of Liability
Our liability in connection with the use of our service is limited to the fee paid for that specific service. We accept no liability for: errors or omissions in source documents provided by your pension administrator; actions taken (or not taken) in reliance on our reports; or outcomes from interactions with pension administrators or third parties.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete pension documentation. You are responsible for verifying our findings with your pension administrator or a regulated financial adviser before taking any action. Taking formal action with your pension scheme is your responsibility.
6. NHS Pension Scheme
NHS pension audit services are provided by our partner, Audit My Pension (auditmypension.co.uk). When you are directed to Audit My Pension, their terms of service apply. PensionTech acts as an introducer only for NHS pension cases.
7. Data Protection
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. Pension documents are encrypted at rest and in transit, retained for 12 months following service completion, and then securely deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
